REAP hosted its annual evening dinner celebration to highlight its students and program successes. State Treasurer Ted Wheeler addressed the audience as the keynote speaker discussing the importance of investing in students who make up the future workforce and leadership of the State of Oregon. REAP students dazzled dinner guests with an international welcome address spoken in Chinese, Spanish, Arabic and English.
Proclaimed as “REAP Day” by Former Mayor Sam Adams, the REAP Benefit Dinner is held the last Thursday in the month of September. The dinner program brings together student leaders, their families, community partners and leaders to celebrate the successes of the program and its students. The evening features a live auction and a dinner program which includes music, a state of the student address, special awards recognition, theatrical student production and our featured REAP media presentation highlighting student success.
